What is Advanced
Clipboard Utility (ACU)?
|
|
ACU
is a handy clipboard manager. For every PC user there are times when you
need to create data arrays of any structure that include recurring data.
Or sometimes the word processor you use can't open the file containing
information that needs to be inserted in the created project. In that case
you have to use the standard Windows clipboard that can store data from
any application and then insert it in another
one.
|
|
Imagine that you need to create a report and you have some data for
it. You copy a part of initial data into the clipboard and paste it in the
right place. Then you copy the next part and paste it in another place.
And what if you need the 1st part again? You'll have to go back to it and
copy it once more.
With ACU
you don't need these extra actions.
|
|
This clipboard manager allows copying up to 16 (!)
blocks of various data simultaneously and selecting the needed one
quickly. Besides ACU is able to store clipboard content on the hard disk
when quitting the program and load it automatically after a new startup.
It's very convenient when you continue unfinished work or if you somehow
have to turn your PC off or reboot the
system.
|
|
All used buffers and operations as copying,
pasting, activating and clearing are available via hot keys. Giving a
glance at the ACU icon in the System Tray is enough to find out the
current active buffer number and its status (whether it's empty or
not).

|
|
In contrast to many similar products ACU offers a
flexible user-defined interface and also it can work as the standard
Windows clipboard. ACU can really make your work much more
efficient!
